Unlike traditional 8-ball or 9-ball games, "4t5"® offers an exciting equal offensive challenge. All players have the opportunity to shoot for 10 innings of play and gather points along the way, regardless of your skill level!
Due to inherent difficulties in the sport of pool, 97% of all first-time players won't be playing within a year. The game of pool is tough! The goal of "4t5"® was to create a game where anyone could pick up a cue, easily pocket balls, and start scoring points immediately, and keep them coming back for the long-term.
Setup is a breeze, the balls have designated starting points on the table at the start of each inning, and you always start out with ball-in-hand. No breaking necessary. All you have to do is simply pocket each ball in order, and run as many balls as you can without missing a short, scratching, or hitting another object ball. If that happens, your inning is over. At the end of each inning, tally up your pocketed balls, write your score in your score sheet, and then move on to the next inning, with a freshly setup table. Each ball has a point value, the 1 ball = 1 point, the 2 ball = 2 points and so on. After 10 innings, add up your score from each frame (think of bowling) and the game is finished. A perfect game of "4t5"® is 450 points, meaning you've pocketed every ball, all 10 innings. There's even more challenging versions of the game, making the game appealing to amateurs & pro pool players.
"4t5"® is all about equal offense, scoring points, improving your skills, all while creating much-needed awareness for the great sport of pocket billiards. Enjoy the game!
